Once I was introduced to buy this film since it’s really a nice and interesting movie that could let me relax after working. It’s a sure thing, yeah, after watching I can tell that “50 First dates” is such a real class act – in fact one of the best film I have ever seen. (May be it’s kinda appropriate to a type of movie of mine also).
Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore star together for the first time since The Wedding Singer in one of the funniest romantic comedies in years.
Now in “50 First dates”, Henry Roth (Sandler) lives an enviable life in a Hawaiian paradise, spending every night with a beautiful tourist in search of an island fling. It’s a sweet life with no strings attached … until he meets Lucy (Barrymore)… He and Lucy hit it off from the get-go, but the next day she acts like she doesn’t know him. Has his karma come around to kick him in the buff or what? Actually, Lucy has short-term memory loss, so every night all memory of her day is erased. But a man in love will go to any lengths to win over the girl of his dreams, and if that means having to find imaginative ways of doing it over again everyday, then Henry’s up for the challenge.
He tries many ways to see her and get acquainted with her in everyday. So he could first persuade her father and brother to permit him to fall in love with and help Lucy recognize her dilemma in every morning then she could continue her current life and future. As the result, Lucy could at least love this man of her life, and lead her real one with true feeling… She makes date with Henry everyday, visits his workplace, … and they kiss. Ridiculously, she says many times sentence: “Nothing beats the first kiss” when kissing him …Those are written in Lucy’s diary … until a day she realizes she could not be selfish any longer to keep Henry beside her for all his life. “He deserves more than that – a teady boring way with her”. They help each other set diary on fire, since that way could let her forget all about him. Sadly, Henry ‘s ready for the next ocean voyage on his schedule. Fortunately, he rocks his heart hearing the song her father gave before which be told Lucy sang only on days she had met him.
Love is miracles. Lucy misses a man in dreams every night. She draws an egg-shaped face in her studio. That’s Henry …
The movie makes an end with a scene that a happy family spend their life on a ship, day by day, but they have all fabulous love and indulgence together …

LOVE SONG by Henry – Egg-shaped head man!
The Hukilau was the place
Where I first saw your face
We liked each other right away
But you didn’t remember me
The very next day
Forgetful Lucy
Has got a nice caboose-y
I used to trick you into pulling
Your car over so we could chat
But my favourite time was when you
Beat the shit out of Ula with a bat
And we drove up to see Dr, Keats
And found out why Doug always
Has to change his sheets
Forgetful Lucy
Cracked her head like Gary Busey
But I still love her so
And I ‘ll never let her go
Even if while I’m singing this song
She’s wishing I had Jocko the Walrus’s schlong
Forgetful Lucy
Her lips are so damn juicy
How about another first kiss?
